His Excellency Ambassador Ahmad Sulu Gambari

His Excellency Ambassador Ahmad Sulu Gambari is the High Commissioner of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to Malaysia, representing Nigeria in Malaysia and working to strengthen the longstanding relations and cooperation between both countries. As Head of Mission, His Excellency provides leadership and strategic direction to the Nigeria High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, overseeing the Mission’s diplomatic, consular, economic, cultural and community-related engagements. His diplomatic responsibilities include promoting Nigeria’s national interests, fostering stronger bilateral relations between Nigeria and Malaysia, encouraging trade and investment opportunities, strengthening cooperation in education, technology, culture and other areas of mutual interest, and supporting initiatives that enhance people-to-people relations between Nigerians and Malaysians. His Excellency also represents the Government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in official engagements with the Government of Malaysia, diplomatic missions, international organisations, business communities, academic institutions and the Nigerian community in Malaysia. Under his leadership, the Nigeria High Commission remains committed to providing effective and accessible services to Nigerian citizens, strengthening consular engagement, promoting Nigeria’s image and interests abroad, and creating opportunities for greater collaboration between Nigeria and Malaysia. Through his engagement with Malaysian authorities and other stakeholders, His Excellency seeks to further advance the shared interests of both nations and contribute to the deepening of the friendly and mutually beneficial relationship between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Malaysia. His leadership of the Mission reflects Nigeria’s continued commitment to constructive diplomacy, international cooperation and the advancement of national development objectives through meaningful partnerships abroad.
